We design each of our Audio Visual and Home Automation systems around our clients, taking great time and care to understand how they wish to use their homes and advising how an Audio Visual and Home Automation system can enhance their use and enjoyment.
We design each user interface to ensure its clear, logical and importantly, aesthetically considered so that it does not detract from the interior design or architecture. Key pieces of hardware, which can otherwise become “wall acne”, are considered and specified in tandem with the interior and architectural detailing, we often specify lighting control faceplates and socket outlet faceplates to be finished to match the ironmongery in the scheme ensuring design continuity and a high level of detailing that underlines our projects.
Throughout the design process our in house Audio Visual and Home Automation designer iterates with Linda and the wider design team, carefully coordinating the systems with the overall project, whether by way of a multi channel surround sound system playing through “invisible” plaster over speakers set within an ornate plaster ceiling, a powerful subwoofer hidden within a piece of bespoke joinery or an integrated TV lift in a dual purpose Media / Living Room.
Where applicable we often specify a Savant integrated control system to provide a slick, bespoke app running on our clients personal iPhone / Android Phone, dedicated remotes or in wall touch panels. The Savant integrated control system provides a user friendly, centralised interface for all Audio, Video, Intelligent lighting and shading, HVAC control (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning), Home Cinema & Media Rooms, Data & Telephony networks. Our sister company Pegasus Automation are trained and authorised Savant control system integrators.
To complement our lighting design schemes, we often design and specify Lutron or Rako lighting and shading control systems. Our sister company Pegasus Automation are trained and authorised integrators of both. We believe this level of in house knowledge is unrivalled within the London interior design, architectural and lighting design market and such understanding allows us to design our lighting schemes from the ground up considering all aspects of the scheme holistically.
